
Amy Fallon is a highly skilled visual designer, drill writer, educator, and adjudicator with over a decade of experience in the marching arts. She has worked with some of the top drum corps and percussion ensembles in the country, including Carolina Crown, Phantom Regiment, and Blue Knights Percussion Ensemble.
Amy began her drum corps marching career in 2008 as a baritone player with the Boston Crusaders. Amy is a graduate of the University of Colorado, where she served as a section leader for the marching band and played clarinet and baritone. Her experience as a performer gives her a deep understanding of how to create visually impactful performances that engage audiences and judges alike.
Amy taught visual at multiple high schools in Colorado since 2011, including Monarch High School, Fairview High School, and Legacy High School. She was also on visual staff at The Phantom Regiment from 2017-2022. Amy is currently on visual staff at Carolina Crown.
Amy has been teaching, writing, and designing for indoor percussion ensembles since 2017. Amy wrote the drill for Rise Percussion from 2018-2020 and contributed to Rise’s promotion from PIO to PIW. Amy also writes for multiple high schools in Colorado who consistently compete at the top of their division.
Amy’s expertise in the marching arts has also led her to judge indoor percussion competitions in both Visual and Effect Visual. She is looking forward to adjudicating more competitions across the country in the future.
With a keen eye for detail and a passion for the marching arts, Amy is committed to helping her students and clients achieve their fullest potential. She is currently based in Lansing, MI. In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with her dog Mousse, CrossFit and weightlifting, going to dance classes, and baking delicious cookies and treats.
